They are all about technology and helps the human being to develop or get an easier life.

B) What is their purpose?

Respuesta:

Most of them were created to help the human to do tasks that tey consider hard, or maybe they are just to have fun. It can be applied to different purposes.

C) How do they work?

Respuesta:

They use technology just as satellites, electric circuits and antenas, that helps the machine to communicate or do wathever the person wants.

1- What type of text is it?

Respuesta:

It is a poster with informative purposes.

2- What do you think is more important - The pictures or the text?

Respuesta:

In this case the text is essensial because the pictures by them self do not explain anything, but, images are important to catch the readers attention. So, both are important, but text is essensial.

Flight controller

Respuesta:

Is the brain of the aircraft, and it helps to controll the drone with simple movements. Have buttons and switches.

Battery

Respuesta:

The battery is something that both, controller and drone need. Its function is to supply energy

ESC

Respuesta:

The electronic speed controller is a machine that helps to administrate te velocity of the parts of the drone.

Propeller

Respuesta:

The propoller is the part that is constantly rotating of the drone, that helps the drone to elevate.

Radio controller

Respuesta:

It is literal a control like the tv remote control but for the drone.

Antenna

Respuesta:

The antenna is made to receive signals

C. With your partner, analyze the poster and discuss the questions.

1- Who is the intended audience of the poster? How they can you tell?

Respuesta:

The poster have specific information so i consider that it is not for the customer but for the techniques.

2- Why do you think there are pictures on the poster? What would happen if there was just text?

Respuesta:

The text will be boring and maybe the audience will prefer not to read it or will not understand.

3- Which picture in the poster is the biggest? why? where is it? What do you thing is the reason for this?

Respuesta:

The biggest picture on the poster is the drone, because it is the main product. The image is at the beginning of the poster, and it is there to catch the attention.

4- What do you think is the purpose of the red arrows and of the blue arrows?

Respuesta:

The red arrows means a sequenc and the blue arrows mean movement.

D. With your partner, discuss and agree on a list of characteristics an infographic should have. Use this information on page 118 to give examples. Share your list with the class

Respuesta:

Yes, a lot of kids love using drones nowadays. They use is to play or even to record.

2- What do you think drones are used for apart from the uses mentioned?

Respuesta:

I met a guy that used to use drones to move things, light things, not heavy

3- Where do you think it is good to use a drone and where do you think it is bad?

Respuesta:

It is good to use it at public spaces to record a better angle, but it is bad to use it at close spaces, because they can provoque an accident.

4- Do you think the drones are useful? Why or why not?

Respuesta:

Yes they are very useful because they can move on the air and do not disturb anybody.

5- Which machines do you think are useful to society?

Respuesta:

Cars, cellphones, drones, washers, dryers.

The weight is obtained multiplying the mass times the gravity. It means that if you weight more, it will be more energy, but also you will need more energy to elevate yourself. Is a lineal relation.

Respuesta:

With explanations and mathematics the relation is different.

This device is used to transport liquids and gases, it is a large circumference with a hole at the center, this obligatte the substance to move in only one direction.

1- What is more important in the text; the users of the device, or the devices themselves?

In the text is better to give a good explanation of the device to help the users.

2- What do you notice about how the verbs change when the user is mentioned?

Respuesta:

Respuesta:

The emphasis in those changes has to be with the user.

Respuesta:

It will be great to but this on any place, it will help because we will avoid the extreme climate and the waste of paper.

The heat always go up, and thats the reason why te balloon get inflated and elevates.

Process

Respuesta:

The balloon is filled with air by a fan. Then, the burners are turned on, and the air in the envelope is heated up, The balloon is released. After that, A vent is opned, the hot air released and cool air goes into the balloon, this make the balloon been heavier and descends.

  4. Start moving the feet

First you sit on the seat, Then you put your hands on the handle while you put the feet on the pedals. After that you impulse and start moving the feet, finally you give the direction moving the handle

  1. Elevator been called the motor turns on and the pulley moves
  2. The metal ropes are pulled to make the elevator moves down or up
